Privacy Policy

Your screenshots should stay purposeful.

This page explains what ChinaGate AI collects, why it is needed, and how you can use the product without oversharing sensitive information.

What We Collect

ChinaGate AI processes screenshots or photos you upload so the service can identify the relevant Chinese interface element and explain the next step in English.

We also use a device ID stored in your browser local storage, or your Telegram chat ID when you use the Telegram bot. These IDs are used to count free scans, apply invite-code unlocks, and manage premium access.

What Not To Upload

Do not upload screenshots that contain passwords, full payment card numbers, passports, national ID cards, private medical information, or other highly sensitive information.

If a screen contains sensitive details, crop or blur those details before sending it to ChinaGate AI.

How We Use Data

Uploaded images are sent to a vision model provider to generate guidance and a highlight box. The response is returned to you in the web app or Telegram chat.

Device IDs, quota counts, premium status, and unlock expiry dates are stored in Supabase so the service can remember access for the same device or Telegram chat.

Accounts And Login

ChinaGate AI does not require a username or password. Access is device-based for the web app and chat-based for Telegram.

Because access is tied to a local device ID or Telegram chat ID, clearing browser storage or switching devices may create a new free device record.
